Una vez terminada la época de la fabricación de quesos empleaba las horas del día en labores artesanales tal como se constata en nuestras encuestas. Este trabajo manual se concretaba antaño en la elaboración de utensilios de madera, en el hilado de la lana y en el tejido de algunas prendas. La talla ornamental de vasos confeccionados con asta de buey y la de otros útiles de madera pertenece también al campo de la artesanía pastoril tradicional.
